No one ever considers my Shakedown as a Championship caliber heavyweight. I'd say it's like Buster Douglas smacking down the Mike Tyson (who, like the '85 Merriweather Shake was all swagger and a monster for a while but ulimately didn't have the heart of a true champ), but this Shake is no fly-by-night like Buster was.

More like the Ali of Shakedowns, floating like a butterfly on wings of perfection...stinging like a bee with a sustained and gritty Garcia guitar fuzz riff that wends its way thru the entire beast and gives it a backbone like no other.

I give you, ladles and gentlebeans, the ultimate SHAKEDOWWWOWWWWWNNN OF ALLL TIIIIIIIMMMMMMEESSSSSS!!!

Well, Buster didnt get a lucky punch,he fought a GREAT fight and whipped the shit out of Tyson. Buster Douglas was a very good fighter.

ummm....no he wasn't. There's a reason he lost his title almost as soon as he got it. Great fighters don't win just one big fight...true, his victory over Tyson is possibly the greatest upset in fight history, but that had as much to do w/Iron Mike not taking Buster seriously, not training enough for the fight, as it did w/Douglas fighting one very great contest.
But the true mark of a real champion is to win consistently over time over a great number and variety of fighters, as Ali did.

That's why the Shakedown I've mentioned here is also a champ...it's flawless & I'll put it up against any other, including the much hyped, and frankly overrated 6/30/85.
